John was a great man and a friend we could always count on. First to offer a hand, and never expecting more than a Thank You. I feel blessed to have known him and am glad I could call him a friend. I will miss his presence and warm smile in so many ways, and my life is richer for having known him for the 30 years I did. RIP John, you have earned it. Love to both Christy & Cody, you were lucky to have such a wonderful man to call Dad.

Learning to team rope at John's ranch are some of the best memories from living in Oklahoma. He'd put you on his best horses, favorite ropes, and run a pretty good steer in now and then, just to test your ability. Avoiding his dog "Ringo" was a full-time job for me, which amused John tremendously! He certainly enjoyed a good laugh! There will never be another John Christian...
